I will be making a new costume soon, and I'm not sure of which character I want to go as, my following posts will be including all the thought processes and rules I abide by like: I will never go as a character from an anime or manga that I have not read or seen. this is because I usually go as one of my favourite characters. if i meet someone who is cosplaying as a character from the same anime as me i want to be able to recognise and appreciate their costume and know about their character too, what if someone says "whats your favourite episode of __________ ?" and your just like ". . . . . . " then the person might be all like "BLAJJSJJASJHAHHHHH, HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW WHICH IS YOUR FAVE EPISODE, MINE IS THE CURRY EPISODE!!/??>/" and then you might have a very angry cosplayer on your hands, and you do not want THAT. so all in all, best to play it safe and go for one you know :)
